Due to Panama´s countrywide anti-mining protests and civil unrest during October and November 2023 in Panama, we had to move our 2023 conference online again.  We had an amazing online scientific publishing workshop for early career researchers, with Dr. Andres Henao and Dr. Carlos Franco Paredes; a mental health implementation research day with psychologists Tomás Rincón and Elianne Pauli, and a day on Infectious and Tropical Diseases with Dr. Cristina Galvan Casas, Dr. Ana Belén Araúz, Dr. Carlos Franco Paredes, and Dr. Andrés Henao.
