Due to social distancing guidelines, our annual in-person medical conference again occurred online. This year, we had more than 150 participants connected each day. The main themes were mental health research, health among migrant peoples, and sexual and reproductive health.  Presenters were from several national and international organizations, universities, and institutes, including the Institute for Scientific Research (Panama), Florida State University (Tallahassee, FL), United Nation´s International Migration Organization, University of North Carolina Greensboro, Gorgas Memorial Institute for Health Studies, St. Thomas´ Hospital (Panama) and the Int´l Center for Studies in Politics and Society.

We are incredibly honored to have such a fantastic volunteer presenter line-up in 2022.  Many thanks to these presenters who donated their time to be with us: Dr. Pinzon, Dr. Britton, Dr. Oviedo, Dr. Millender, MSc.  We are planning on returning to an in-person or hybrid conference in 2023!
