CDNA supports monthly to the HIV catchment and linkage clinic in David, Chiriquí.  

This clinic is innovative in its recruitment, linkage, and adherence strategy in the men who have sex with men, sex workers, and transgender populations. This clinic, located in David, Chiriquí focuses on:

1) Accompaniment by another member of the community living with HIV, for pretest counseling and orientation.

2) To reach 50% reach of the Comarcal (Comarca Ngäbe-Buglé) population that lives outside the Comarcal territory, especially during the coffee harvest season from September to February. 

3) To link and deliver fast (same day as diagnosis) Antiretroviral Treatment (ART). 

4) To offer HIV care in the evening hours, which is helpful for patients who study and work.

5) To train seronegative populations to use Pre-exposure prophylaxis therapy.  

6) To function as reference points for HIV testing and linkage in peripheral communities in coffee farms.
