To help commemorate the annual Day Against Violence Against Women this past November 25th, CDNA supported the Fémina Festival. The event is a self-managed collective for women of the arts: women artists whose work addresses issues related to violence against women.
Fémina Festival creates plays, performances, and other artistic expressions, including conversations with experts on gender, feminism, and gender equality. The annual gathering includes an art market where artisans present their work, including music, cinema, stand-up, photography, painting, theater, and dance. The Fémina Festival aims to create safe spaces for women to exchange art, history, and discussions, free of violence and patriarchal norms. A shout-out to Natalia Beluche, the event coordinator.
