CDNA supported the creation of a transmedia platform for adolescent education on sexuality. Called Amorfiesta, this transmedia encourages young audiences to be knowledgeable and in control of their sexuality. The media program addresses pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections, and HIV prevention. Amorfiesta was created by the journalist and social educator Carolina Ángel Idrobo. The platform has drawn international support of the International Embassy of Canada, the UN Population Fund, the University of Argentina, and CDNA in Panama.
Amorfiesta uses an interactive internet platform, allowing participants to choose an avatar and engage with a storyline. The scenarios allow participants to experience different real-life stories about how adolescents and young people live daily in Panama. Each storyline presents various options and outcomes related to adolescent sexual behavior, educating participants along the way. The platform will soon be out for everyone to see, and in the meantime, a non-interactive trailer can be found on the AmorfiestaYouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkC7LlCH2ZE.
